Letting and renting homes in Knightsbridge since 1998

285 Brompton Road

Knightsbridge letting agents Benham & Reeves Residential Lettings are aware that the area occupies an aristocratic and exclusive position on the London map that only centuries of privilege and permanence can bestow. In the 21st century that position has translated into a property environment where the trend is forever upwards, regardless of any economic indicators one should care to name. It would be hard for us therefore, not to get very enthusiastic about the numerous 'jewels' of rental property we get to show off from this most glittering of property crowns.

Georgian mansions, early Victorian townhouses, conversions and modern apartments are some of the prize property exhibits that Benham & Reeves Residential Lettings has on its' property register at our 285 Brompton Road branch in SW3.

Meet our Knightsbridge team

Where do you live? I was born in the UK and raised in England and the US. I have lived in Chelsea for several years.

Tell us about your career? Over the past 25 years, I've been involved in the buying, selling and renting of residential properties and marketing of commercial premises internationally. Earlier in my career, I worked for the NHS, helping to secure hospital re-development funding, and also helped to launch The London Aquarium. I have been with Benham and Reeves Residential Lettings since 2009 and am ARLA Propertymark qualified with the NAEA (NFOPP) qualification.

And something interesting about yourself? In 1990 I was named a 'Woman of Tomorrow' finalist by Cosmopolitan Magazine UK and in 1997 was nominated as a 'Woman to Watch' for my role in delivering the £150m London Aquarium. I really enjoy working in property too.
Where do you live? I have lived in the W9 postcode for the last 18 years.

What do you like most about the properties in Kensington? Much of Kensington was built in the Victorian era so I like the fact that the area has a diverse range of properties, plenty of lovely mansion blocks and some wonderful garden squares.

Tell me something about your career? I worked in a Cocktail Bar before starting my career in property so I know how to make good cocktails. I started my property career in the London Bridge area before finally moving to West London to kick start my lettings career.

What is your favourite local cafe or bar? Caffe Concerto in Kensington, they sell the most delightful cakes.

What are your passions outside work? I like travelling and seeing new places. I also enjoy baking and enjoy taking my dog on long walks - it really clears your head after a long day.
Where do you live? I've lived in Fulham for 25 years.

How long have you worked in property? I worked for a Mayfair estate agency for four and a half years and joined Benham and Reeves Residential Lettings in 2011 as a Lettings Administrator at the Hampstead branch then I moved in 2012 to the Highgate branch. I am now a member of ARLA Propertymark.

And an interesting fact about yourself? I speak Arabic which is handy sometimes because there are a lot of buy-to-let investors who appreciate it when I can talk to them in their own language.
