Benham and Reeves Residential Lettings

Anita moved to the UK in 1972 and has over the last 30 years built up her lettings company, Benham and Reeves Residential Lettings, into London's largest independent residential lettings agency and property management company.,

Under the direction of Anita, the company has grown from one Hampstead office, to a substantial organisation comprising ten lettings offices in prime London locations with dedicated accounts, marketing and property management departments plus overseas branches in Hong Kong, Singapore, Dubai and India. In 2003, Anita set up In:Style Direct, a furnishing subsidiary providing ready-to-move in furniture packages to facilitate buy-to-let investors wishing to furnish their rental investment properties.

Marc, a graduate in Economics and Politics, began his career in banking and worked on secondment in Japan and Holland for a number of years before returning to the UK to pursue a career within the property investment sector.

Marc joined Benham and Reeves Residential Lettings in 1996. In 2001, Marc joined the board and assumed responsibility for the main day to day rentals operation and now spends the majority of his time advising clients on new investments in London and Dubai, where the company also has an office.

After completing a degree in Law (with French Law) and the legal practice course in 2001, Simran joined City law firm Richards Butler. On qualification in 2004 she spent 2 years specialising in various aspects of commercial real estate. Simran has gained considerable experience working with landlords and tenants in both the commercial and residential sectors. In March 2006 Simran joined Benham and Reeves Residential Lettings and brings to her position of head of our management department valuable transferable skills which are useful for assisting our many thousands of clients. Since assuming this position the department has grown substantially and is uniquely placed to deal with all management aspects for our clients, especially for our growing number of overseas clients.

Vidhur Mehra joined Benham and Reeves Residential Lettings as Financial Director in 2004.

After achieving a BSc (Hons) degree in Management Science Vidhur took a position with BDO Stoy Hayward and qualified as a Chartered Accountant. Subsequently, he held a position with Lehman Brothers (investment bank) gaining hands-on experience on the international market and the latest accountancy techniques and computerised procedures, which are useful for providing our many thousands of clients with up to the minute information concerning their affairs.

With 20 years experience gained at senior level in media communications and residential property, Sue joined Benham and Reeves Residential Lettings as Head of Management.

During her tenure with the company, Sue's skills have played a major part in increasing the company's management portfolio from 75 to several hundred properties. In 2001, Sue joined the board as Director.

Since handing over the Head of Management reins to Simran Prasad in 2008, Sue is now extensively involved in liaising with key clients worldwide and overseeing the many major refurbishment projects the company carries out each year on behalf of property investors.
